| Lynn is a pleasure to work with, she was able to answer any question I had and came up with a great design. When I received the cake it looked beautiful, even better than I expected. I got the raspberry swirl cake with cream cheese icing, it was absolutely sinful. I will definitely be doing business with her again. |
I have ordered 2 cakes from Lynn Short within the last six months and I know that she is the one that I will continue to order cakes from in the future. As a vegan I have not been able to enjoy professionally made cakes at my daughter's birthday parties for years. I was delighted to discover that Lynn makes vegan (No dairy or egg products). The first cake was so delicious (Yes, it was even chocolate) that everyone at her party raved about it and I enjoyed telling them after tasted it that it was vegan. The second cake I ordered was for my vegan sister's baby shower. It was chocolate with strawberry filling and very moist and delicious. By the end of the baby shower people had gone back for seconds and there was only one piece left. I not only enjoy eating the cakes, but she decorates the cakes very well, and I like the fact that when I buy Lynn's cakes I am supporting a small business. |

| Lynn was so wonderful! She was so patient through many emails back and forth as we tried to decide on what exactly we wanted. She sent photos and sketches and ideas to help us out, and the price she charged was so reasonable too. The final product looked beautiful and tasted even better, she baked and decorated the cake the morning we needed it which is just amazing to have one so fresh! I wouldn't hesitate at all to order from her again. |

| They did an awesome Abby Cadabby cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday. We ordered a 1/4 sheet cake and it was the perfect amount for the number of guests. The design was beautiful-it was by hand, not an image-and they didn't even use the cake pan that you can find online or in Party City. I would definitely buy a birthday cake from them again. Pricing was pretty good too for a cake that pretty! |
For my company, the 'average cake' will just not work. We are an eclectic bunch with a good sense of humor. I have purchased several cakes from Crystal's now, and will continue to give her all of my patronage. No matter what idea we come up with, I never hear 'Oh that can't be done'. The end product not only meets my expectations, but exceeds it. Everyone wonders where I buy all of these great cakes! |

| We came to town for our daughters wedding. We found out that they did not have a wedding cake. Nothing!. I could not live with that so I started calling bakeries. No one wanted to help. My last call was to Lynn at Crystals' Custom Cakes at 8:00 the night before the wedding.. I was told she was out but would return my call. She did, an hour later. I told her my situation and was very relieved when she said she would help me.She came up with an idea that I liked and at 10:30 that night I had my cake order placed. She showed up at noon the next day with a lovely 2 tiered wedding cake. Our daughter could not believe it. The cake was one of the best I ever tasted. Lynn must have been up all night making and decorating that cake! I know she had at least one other wedding that day. I don't know how she did it. This woman is one of the best kept secrets in Carlisle! No hassles, no issues, 3 phone calls and my daughter's perfect wedding cake appeared as promised. I wouldn't think of ever going to anyone else. |
